Design leadership grounded in clarity

Leading through influence, shared understanding, and craft

I'm a Principal Product Designer who leads through clarity, trust, and shared understanding.I've spent my career working on complex systems—enterprise platforms, AI-enabled workflows, and infrastructure products—where success depends not just on good design, but on how well teams align around it. My role often sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and leadership, translating complexity into direction teams can execute on.

How I Lead

Creating shared mental modelsI use diagrams, flows, and visual narratives to help teams align on how systems work before debating solutions.
Raising design quality through partnershipI mentor designers through critique and collaboration, helping them reason through tradeoffs rather than prescribing answers.
Design as a decision-making toolI frame design work to surface risks, clarify options, and support product and engineering decisions.
Balancing craft and scaleI care deeply about UI quality, but I optimize for systems and patterns that teams can maintain and evolve.
Psychological safety and trustI create environments where feedback is candid, respectful, and focused on outcomes.

Experience Snapshot

  • Principal Product Designer — ProsimoLed design direction across onboarding, deployment, and operational workflows; partnered closely with PM and engineering leadership; mentored designers and influenced platform-wide UX decisions.
  • Product Designer — ProsimoBuilt foundational UX patterns and systems that scaled as the product and team grew.
  • Founder / Designer — Whiskey StudioLed end-to-end design across digital and physical experiences, developing strong client communication and leadership skills.

Design Philosophy

I believe great design leadership isn't about having all the answers—it's about creating clarity where others can contribute their best thinking. When teams understand the system, the constraints, and the goals, good decisions follow.

Beyond the screen

Outside of work, I'm deeply interested in how people experience space, flow, and environment—which is what originally led me to interior design. That lens continues to shape how I approach product design today: with attention to context, movement, and how things feel over time, not just how they look in isolation.I'm drawn to work that sits at the intersection of people and complex systems, and I care deeply about creating environments—both digital and human—where thoughtful collaboration can happen. Whether I'm designing a platform or working with a team, my goal is the same: clarity, trust, and momentum.
